- 現代の観測点を間引いて過去データを用いた場合の同化性能について。
- EnSRFとSI(気候値の統計的内挿？)と観測を間引いた現業同化(3DVAR)を実際のフル同化プロダクトと比較。EnSFRはそこそこ良く、フルの60時間予報の精度と同程度。

- EnSRF(Ensemle Square Rood Filter)というものが使われているが、[[Compo et al 2006>study/CompoGP_BAMS_2006a]]でのEnKFと同じかどうかわからない。
- background-error covariancesというものが重要であるらしいが、ほとんど良く分からない。flow-dependentとstaticというのがあるみたいだが。
- covariance localization とcovariance inflationもよくわからない。チューニングできそうなものだ。
- 3DVAR(CDAS-SFC)にも、background-error covariance constant factor やらdivergence tendency constraintなどというチューニングパラメタがあるが、よくわからない。
