Utilities

G-RSM comes with a number of utilities that facilitate your work. Most utilities are located in libs/etc.

• incdte (in libs/etc): returns a new date from the starting date and the number of hours from the starting date. (Usage: $ incdte year month day hour hours_from_start)
  • e.g., $incdte 1991 01 01 00 5256 returns 1991 08 08 00
• inchour (in libs/etc): returns the number of hours between two dates. (Usage: $ inchour syear smonth sday shour eyear emonth eday ehour)
  • e.g., $inchour 1991 01 01 00 1991 08 08 00 returns 5256

• grvar_ver2 (in libs/etc): explained on Using GrADS with G-RSM output page.
